The Orb Soundsystem - UK
For more than a quarter of a century The Orb have been a pivotal figure within the ambient and electronic music realm. From contributions to the rave revolution in the 90s, adventures into acid house like classic ‘Tripping in Sunshine’ and the seminal album ‘The Orb’s Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld’ The Orb have cemented their place in electronic music’s history. A legacy act of the highest order, Quest are thrilled to bring these masters of their craft to Vietnam for the very first time.
Slamboree Soundsystem - UK
Balkan / Breaks / Drum & Bass / Dubstep / Electro Swing / Gypsy / Nu Rave
Slamboree Sound System are a smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils and entertainers, fusing bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, accordion, pyrotechnics and circus. The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, dub, techno and electro fused with balkan, folk, and ‘gypsy’ flavours. Their energetic and spellbinding sets has seen them grace festival stages across the globe including Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic, Boomtown and Shambala and we’re looking forward to sharing some of their madness at Quest.
The Bay Collective - VN / DEN

“The Bay Collective is an open project by Vietnamese/danish pianist TRI MINH and danish singer/songwriter NANNA BOTTOS. They blend jazz/pop vibes with their original new, compositions and remake some of the well-known songs from their respected culture background in their native language.
“LANDSCAPE”, The Bay Collective’s first album is a journey of culture exploration with original compositions, painting pictures of landscapes and emotions with their music and lyrics which also raise awareness on environmental issues. The Bay Collective is an intimate duo of piano and vocal and on stage also with invited guest(s).

Amassed more than 3 million recorded plays on LastFM, 1000’s of FANS on Facebook. Featured on various films inc’ “Limitless” starring Bradley Cooper.
Stars & Rabbit - IDN
Indonesia’s Stars and Rabbit are at the forefront of a new generation of talented artists from the creative hotspot of Yogyakarta. Lead singer Elda Suryani’s incredibly unique vocals conjures memories of gifted female vocalists such as Björk and Lamb’s Lou Rhodes, while their ethereal dream-pop style has drawn comparisons with bands as diverse as First Aid Kit to Emiliana Torrini.
X0809 - TH
Synth Pop / Electro
Creative powerhouse X0809 have exploded onto the Thai music scene in the past two years, performing across Japan, Hong Kong and opening for major acts like Underworld and Crystal Castles. Beyond just producing and performing all of their own music, the two part team of Notep and Anya Muangkote also manage all the art and creative direction, visual and graphic work. Occupying a space beyond just musical artistry, they are pure creators, combining music, art, fashion and design with technology for a mesmerizing live performance.

The Sound Traveller - PL

Sound Traveler creates music and stories with artists around the world. He combines electronic music with the unique sounds of local instrumentalists and singers. Originally from Poland, he is primarily based in Havana, Cuba and his unique and captivating sounds have seen him perform in more than 50 countries around the world, sharing stages with musical luminaries like Tycho, Digitalism, Groove Armada and Dixon.
Tomes - AUS
In an alley by a lake shrouded in mist Tobias Paramore sweats over samplers and synthesisers, bringing new rhythms together for the latest tomes production. The gentle hustle of Hanoi’s streets provides a sonic backdrop for raw elements woven together on the UK’s shores.
Since releasing his fifth EP ‘bright noise’ last year tomes’ sound has continued to evolve. Keeping a raw edge and gritty tone, each element rings clear in a dynamic and layered soundscape. Off-kilter grooves and crackly cassettes interlock with deep kicks and sizzling synthesisers; chunks of UK underground filtered through Asia’s heavyweight dance scene.
Drawing inspiration from hip hop, garage, bassline, techno, drum and bass and many more styles, tomes’ work showcases a deep, dance floor oriented sensibility. Layering homemade samples with soul breaks; sequencing synthy squelches on the fly; capturing loops live and remixing them in the moment – expect all that and more from any tomes show.
Stanford Reid - USA
Neofolk / Jazz
Brooklyn-based Neofolk Jazz artist, DJ, and producer Stanford Reid can be called a renaissance man. As a performing artist touring internationally, multi-instrumentalist Stanford Reid captivates audiences with every chord, smooth bass-line, and mesmerizing sax solo he programs and loops live using his RC-30 Loop station and Korg Electribe. As a DJ, Stanford blends an eclectic mix of hip-hop, house, Afrobeat, and reggae with live electric bass and alto sax. Together with his charisma and infectious personality, Stanford Reid is a triple threat.
Tùng Tim - VN
House / Disco / Techno
Tùng Tím, a Hanoi-based DJ who has featured in past festivals, bars and clubs around Vietnam. Tùng Tím has gained a reputation in city growing’s underground electronic scene as a figured that can shift between all shorts of dance-focused styles from space disco to heavier techno – at just the right time.

The Hanoing Jazz Band combines Swing Jazz, Latin and Funk styles to create an awesome homage to the big band days and will make you shake what your mama gave ya.
DIE EMPATHIE – Takeover
Die Empathie stands for organic, passionate, emotional and quality downtempo music. A genre well galvanized in Europe already, it is tantalizingly new in Asia. Escape from everyday life and let us take you on a rhythmic journey in an intimate surroundings where it’s not about what you see, but what you feel.
Emerging from the Zurich underground, Die Empathie was born with an illegal rave in a construction site, followed by a day and night warhouse rave. Now a global movement, Die Empathy’s secret sunset and sunrise sound journeys are a place for like minded and empathetic people.
Temo Sayin - Switzerland
Melodic, ambient & ethnic house
Temo Sayin, head of the Zurich underground movement Die Empathie shows, that music doesn’t need to be hectic and cluttered to bring people into ecstasy. His deep, open minded organic sounds take you on an unique journey: Melancholic but never sad, sensitive but never cheesy, powerful but never crazy. Sentimental enough to close the eyes and still uplifting to raise the arms.
His caeer started the Turkish Dutch especially on illegal events in his hometown Zurich, where he also began quickly to play at the most popular clubs together with well known artists as Satori, Rampue, Miyagi and many others.
Bahtik - Germany
Late night juggernaut Dan Buri has been leading the charge in Bangkok for almost a decade now, delivering his signature brooding, melodic soundscapes. The German born producer and DJ established Bahtik as his side project, a means to delivering a more organic sound – atmospheric, spacious and tribal. Get lost within the infinite rhythms.
Cats On Crack - Singapore
Electronica & melodic techno
From dangerous disco ditties to the ends of mind warping techno, CATS ON CRACK is a mew-sical journey personified. Since graduating from the FFF Girl DJ Bootcamp, CATS ON CRACK has been spreading her gospel of good vibes far and wide.
She’s paid her dues in an eclectic fashion—be it laying out the soundtrack for reputable brands such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Nespresso, BLUEPRINT and Singapore Art Museum; dishing out the deep, dark and dirty at corners of the island’s nightlife fixtures such as kyō, Kilo Lounge and Velvet Underground—and continues to do so with much gusto and glee.
Troja - India
Ethno. House. Acid. Techno.
Kolkata born, Mumbai based Troja aka Trideep Roy is a music producer and DJ from India who over the last few years has developed a strong following around the world. Through his productions, Troja seeks to express his inner emotive via a particular soundscape. His distinct sound of house and techno fused with classical and ethnic influences has connected with a wider global audience. His first EP ‘Shanti’ released on Windhorse Records received acclaim and strong support from established artists such as Acid Pauli, YokoO, Nick Warren to name a few.
The HOTS Boat Party – TAKEOVER
Taking full advantge of the stunning Dong Mo Lake, Heart of the Sound Productions (HOTS) in association with Hauswork and Triplefire Music, will be creating unique, curated musical journeys on a fully equipped party boat. Small groups will take off on a private, bespoke parties, express delivering the best of South Africa’s progressive, house and techno scenes for a cross continental sonic adventure.
Hauswork - South Africa
Originally starting out as an infamous monthly night in Cape Town, Hauswork went on to become the notorious alias for the pairing of Nicole Weitsz and Ainslie Ford, as an outlet for their more house-orientated sound.
Fusing together the wide-world of house sub-genres, the duo came to prominence playing regular extended sets of up to 8 hours which exemplified the couple’s uncanny ability to draw in, command and hold the attention of the dancefloor.
Hauswork is well-known for their infectious and fun energy behind the decks and uncompromising blend of house that simply demands notice.
Ainslie Ford - South Africa
Zimbabwean born, Cape Town based DJ, Ainslie Ford, has been involved in the dance music scene since his move to Cape Town in the mid-90’s. An outspoken protector of and protagonist for the heart of the scene, his passion in the straight beat sound sweeps across the realms of deep and tech house, tech and techno and this is compiled in to considered sets which reflect his ability to tease, read and lead the listener with surgical precision.
Nicole Weitsz - South Africa
A self-confessed late bloomer, it wasn’t until 2007 that old skool club-stalwart Nicole found herself living in a house blessed with turntables, and the bug bit hard.
Quickly grasping the fundamentals of vinyl, timecode and controller interfaces, she found a passion for big room, bass heavy, thumping techno.
Nicole’s techno sound has evolved to be as competent opening a floor as closing a party, whilst always remaining accessible to the changing dancefloor landscape. This has contributed to her becoming one of the most regularly booked female DJs in Cape Town playing alongside local talent and International artists like Joop Junior, BEC and Rebekah.
Ryan Sullivan - South Africa
Deep Progressive House and Techno
Ryan Sullivan is an electronic music producer and dj specializing in deep progressive house and techno with an electronica flair. Imagine Sasha and John Digweed on safari with Pink Floyd. Heavily influenced by the South African raves of the 90’s and later the sounds of Global Underground, he creates music that evokes euphoria with a sophisticatd and entrancing sound.
Plagiarhythm - South Africa
Plagiarhythm has a love for music that runs deeper than a lady of the nights coin purse. He has played at every club and festival South Africa has to offer as well as venturing to Lighthouse Festival in Croatia 4 times in a row, is part of the Lighthouse South Africa team, played Pratersauna, Werk, Grelle Forelle and the Puff in Vienna, Austria.
